Final demolition orders on two agricultural facilities in At-Tayba – East Tarqumiya/ Hebron governorate

Description:

Sunday , March 29^th , the occupation authorities issued final demolition orders on two agricultural facilities (rooms) in At-Tayba , east Tarqumiya, according to the military orders , the owners have only 7 days to demolish their own facilities.

The owners found the military orders hanged on their facilities. Reportedly, the military orders were issued by “The civil Administration – High organization council- The Inspection subcommittee” , and entitled “A final halt of work and demolition order”, on the pretext of building without licenses.

The occupation authorities threatened that in case the owners breached the dead line, they will implement the demolition and make the owner pay for the costs.

The targeted room belong to :

• Citizen Suliman Ja’afreh : Ja’afreh received a demolition order on an agricultural room built in his plot in At-Tayba village since the 70s , he repaired the room recently, it has a total area of (40 m²) built of bricks and stones with a steal sheets ceiling , it is also used as a store for agricultural tools.

Demolition order 60894 : that targets a room belongs to Suliman Ja’afreh

• Citizen Mohammed Ja’afreh: Ja’afreh received a demolition order on an agricultural room and a tent built of bricks and has a steal sheets ceiling , the targeted room has a total area of 50 m², he recently repaired the room that it used as a store for agricultural tools.

Noteworthy, it is clear recently that the occupation authorities have escalated their human rights abuses in At-Tayba village , while the village have always been targeted by settlers of the illegal settlements “Telem” and “Adora” attacks, and the occupation authorities’ intention is to take over the village lands for the expansion of those settlements.
