Description:
The Israeli occupation machineries were seen land leveling 9 dunums on the entrance of Nahil military camp. Nahil military camp was established in the 70s on confiscated lands belong to the Latin Patriarch. In the same context, the Israeli occupation is adding more mobile rooms and ready-to-use residential structures to the camp. Noteworthy, the Israeli occupation troops claim that they evicted the camp one month ago.

Human-rights activist Aref Daraghmeh told LRC observer:
“There is an Israeli scheme to establish a new colony in Wad Al-Malih, Israeli troops have been evicting military camps in the area and handing them to colonial institutions, Recently Israeli troops were seen evicting Trestia and At-Tayasir military camps, and now “Nahil” is being evicted at the same time of adding new residential units into the camp”
Land Research Center sees Israel continuous expansion on colonies in the West Bank and Jerusalem at the expense of Palestinian and lands a flagrant violation of Human Rights and all international laws and conventions, which prohibit disposition of public properties in occupied countries.
Security council resolution 242 year 1967: Withdrawal of Israel armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict; and Termination of all claims or states of belligerency and respect for and acknowledgement of the sovereignty, territoial integrity and political independence of every State in the area and their right to live in peace within secure and recognized boundaries free from threats or acts of force.
