Extremist Colonists Assault Palestinians’ Properties in Turmus’ayya town / Ramallah governorate

• Violation: Establishing several car tires and writing hatred inciting slogans on house walls.
• Location: Turmus’ayya town / Ramallah governorate.
• Date: March 28^th 2022.
• Perpetrators: Illegal colonists.
• Victims: A number of families at the town.

Description:

Monday , March 28^th 2022 , A group of radical colonists raided a neighborhood northwest Turmus’ayya town , colonists took advantage of silence at the area , slashed  several car tires ,  and wrote hatred inciting slogans on the walls in Hebrew that call for “Killing the Arabs”.

The Security Cameras show that colonists carried out the attack in a short period of time and withdrew (hit and run attack) .

Reportedly , the attacks targeted the following:

• Jamil Shalabi , A Ford car with four tires were slashed.
• Nu’man Shalabi , Mitsubishi Magnum, four tires were slashed.
• Marwan Shalabi , Mitsubishi vehicle , four tires were slashed.
• Ziad ‘Awad , Hyundai Santa Fe , four tires were slashed.
• Taim ‘Awad , Mazda car , four tires were slashed and writing hatred inciting slogans on house walls.
• Najeh Shehdeh , Opel Corsa car , four tires were slashed.
• Hisham Shehdeh , Hyundai Accent , Four Tires Were slashed.
• Wafa’ Kana’an , Datson Vehicle , Three tires were slashed.

Turmus’ayya witnessed several assaults represented in colonists’ assaults, and writing hatred inciting slogans on walls of several houses at the village, in addition to destroying a large number of olive saplings at the town , in addition to destroying agricultural crops and destroying several olive saplings at the town , Adh-Dhahrat area north the town is a hot spot for Israeli crimes , it is the spot where colonists sabotaged 2000 olive saplings viciously.

About Turmus’ayya:[1]

 It is located 25 km to the north east of Ramallah city. It has a population of 3736 people (according to a 2007 census). Its total area is 18139 dunums, 1350 of which are built-up area. About 11218 dunums of land are under Area B (PA is in charge of civil matters with Israel responsible for security) and 6921 dunums are under Area C (Israel maintains full security and administrative control).

The Israeli occupation confiscated vast areas of the village for the benefit of the following colonies:

1. Shilo and Mizpe Rahel devoured 1023 dunums
2. Mizpe Rahel  devoured 706 dunums
3. The bypass road number 60 stole 12.5 dunums
