The Israeli Occupation Authorities issued 5 stop-work orders against residences in As Samu’ town on the pretext of no construction permits. Issa Mahareeq stated to an LRC observer: ‘on November 30, 2011, Israeli troops broke into Khallit al Karsana in the west and handed 5 families the orders.‘

Khallit al Karsana is located 4 km to the west of As Samu’ and edging bypass ’60’. In the 1990’s, the Israeli Occupation Authorities demolished two two-storey houses in the area as well as a shed. The demolitions were justified by the inability to acquire construction permits.
