Citizen Al-Hroub, 22, stated that a demolition order was found affixed to the door of his residence in the Umm Hadhwa area, east of the town, after his neighbors told him that a vehicle belonging to the so-called Planning and Building Department of the Israeli Civil Administration, accompanied by an occupation army patrol, had raided the site. In the demolition notice number 60789, the occupation authorities demanded “to immediately stop continuing construction work and demolish what has been built.” If he does not do so, the house will be demolished after seven days and he must pay all the exorbitant demolition costs.
