Details:
The Israeli occupation authorities on June 24, 2015 served stop-work and demolition orders on residential structures in the Hebron village of Jinba. The chairman of Masafer Yatta protection committee Othman Jabarin said that a force from Israel Civil Administration raided the village and hanged the orders on the targeted structures and took photos of the place before they had left.
- Final demolition orders on residential structures:
The Israeli occupation authorities served three final demolition orders on residential structures owned by citizens from Jinba. The order compelled the halt of all construction works and the destruction of what has been built within a seven day deadline since the order’s date of issuance. Noteworthy, the orders were served under the claim of “unlicensed construction”. The following table shows information about affected citizen due to the orders:

- Stop- work orders:
The Israeli occupation authorities on the same date served stop-work orders on several structures under the claim of “unlicensed construction”. The orders compelled the halt of all construction works and set July 23, 2015 as the hearing session for the so-called Israel Inspection Sub-Committee in the court of Beit El colony to consider whether to demolish the structures or restore their previous status.

About Jinba:
Jinba is a small village located in an area known as Masafer Yatta, 12km to the south east of Yatta town. It is inhabited by 27 families which are around 207 people. Residents of the area depend on livestock. Most of the village’s structures are built of bricks, metal slabs, and sackcloth; the structures are very simple in their nature. The village holds a school, a kindergarten, and mosque within but they are all threatened of demolitions. A small generator provides the village with power while people get their fresh water from cisterns.
An unpaved road connects the village with the surrounding communities; the locals rehabilitated a one km of road during the past year but the Israeli occupation notified it with stop-work order.
The village is edged by Mizpe Ya'ir (west), the segregation wall (south and east) and Masafer Yatta (north).
