Details:
On August 20, 2018, the so called Planning and Construction Committee- Israel Civil Administration raided Mas’ud hamlet village and served stop work orders on 2 residences under the pretext of unlicensed construction within area classified C according to Oslo Accords.
According to the military order, September 15 will be the date of the the session of the Planning Committee in the so-called Beit El court to consider the legal status of the notified structures.

Affected Villager Wisam Amarna (27 yrs) told LRC observer:
“In the beginning of last February I started building my house using all the money I have. Noteworthy that the house is only 400 meters away from the Apartheid wall that surrounds Barta’a town, which threatens my existence in the area”
Maso’ud Hamlet lies about 16 kilometers south-west Jenin city, It is one of the hamlets that are frequently targeted by the occupation The apartheid wall Isolated 65 dunums on the west, other than closing the northern entrance which connects the hamlet with the northern towns of Jenin governorate, The hamlet has an area of 4680 dunums all of them are considered C area according to Oslo convention, expect for 12 dunums are a built up area for the hamlet, Mas’ud hamlet has a population of 47 people according to 2007 census.
