The Planning and Construction Committee- Israel Civil Administration delivered on May 09, 2017 a final demolition order for the family of Ibrahim Hroub. The order targeted a residential tent and an agricultural one on the claim of them being illegally set up.
According to the order number 504386, the occupation gave the affected owner a seven day deadline to dismantle the structures otherwise the occupation forces carry out the demolition themselves.
It should be noted that the family received a stop-work order on the same structures on March 09, 2017. Hroub family is reported to be displaced by the occupation twice (2004, 2010); their structures were demolished and they were left homeless in the cold at time.

About al- Jiftlik:
It is located 35km to the northern part of Jericho city and is edged by the village of Beit Dajan from the northwest and Massua colony from the west.
The village has a population of 4789 people until 2014 and has a total land area of 185031 dunums of which 1110 dunums are built-up area. Noteworthy, the occupation expropriated around 12040 dunums from the village as follows:
· 3207 dunums were confiscated for the favor of establishing colonies in the nearby.
· 3328 dunums were confiscated for the bypass roads no. (90, 505, and 508).
· 5505 dunums were confiscated for the favor of military camps.
