Description:
Wednesday, February 5th 2020, the Israeli Occupation forces issued halt of work notice for Sosiya basic school south Yatta / Hebron governorate.
A vehicle from the building and organization department at the civil administration raided the area , and put a notice on the ground then took pictures of it before withdrawing.
The Occupation authorities at their notice number (00097) ordered halting work on the pretext of building without a license , and set February 17th 2020 , as the date of the subcommittee session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structure.

The Occupation authorities pointed out on the possibility “To apply for a License” for the playground. This is part of the occupation’s policies against Palestinians, they allow Palestinians to file for a license and prove owning the plot, and then they reject the application , and eventually issue a final demolition order , on the pretext of building without a license.
People of Sosiya village donated a plot for the playground and got funding from an international institution to level it , and early this year they carried out leveling the plot for the playground , and while they were working at the site , the occupation forces raided the area , confiscated a (JCB) excavator operating at the site and kept it in “Kfat ‘Etzion” colony.

Week after confiscating the excavator, the occupation forces came back and issued a halt of work notice for the playground.
The play ground was supposed to have a total area of (300 m2) , covered with artificial turf , and surrounded with barbed wires , but citizens were forced to stop preparing it after receiving the notice.
