Violation: closing a village's entrance
Location: Beitillu village–Ramallah
Date: July 22, 2017
Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Forces
Victims: residents of the village
Details:
At early hours of Sunday, July 22, 2017 a force from the Israeli occupation army set up a metal gate at the eastern entrance of Beitillu village as to impose a full closure on the area.
Reportedly, the closure had a negative impact on the area's inhabitants and others in the neighboring villages namely ( Deir Ammar, Al-Janyyeh, Ras Karkar and Jamala). As a result, movement got tightly restricted and human services got stumbled.
Israeli Occupation Authorities continue on utilizing the collective punishment against Palestinians everywhere, it affects economic growth and disconnects geographical unity amongst communities and cities.
It should be noted that Israel started the closure policy after the war of 1967.

It is edged by several Palestinian villages besides the armistice line to the west; the village also incubates a number of water springs.
