Stop-work orders on four residences in Beit Ummar village

Details:

Israeli occupation authorities served stop-work orders on residences in the Hebron village of Beit Ummar. Noteworthy, the structures belong to citizens from Al-Arrub refugee camp, who bought lands in Beit Ummar village to settle in there.

The orders targeted the following:

1.  The residence of Abdelnaser Jum'a: the owner received the stop-work order on January 17, 2017 targeting his under construction house (180m²). The house was supposed to be home for 8 member family including two children.

The order assigned February 09, 2017 as the hearing session of the Inspection Sub-Committee in the Israeli court of Beit El colony to consider whether to demolish the structure of restore its previous status.

2. The residence of Yahya Mughrabi : the owner received the stop-work order on January 03, 2017 targeting his under construction house (150m²). The house was supposed to be home for 4member family including two children.

The order assigned January 19, 2017 as the hearing session of the Inspection Sub-Committee in the Israeli court of Beit El colony to consider whether to demolish the structure of restore its previous status

3. The residence of Ismael Jawabra  : the owner received the stop-work order on November  11, 2016 targeting his under construction house (150m²). The house was supposed to be home for 8 member family including six children.

4. The residence of Mohammad Jum'a  : the owner received the stop-work order on November  27, 2016 targeting his under construction house (120m²).

The affected owners explained that the orders were delivered to their houses by the so-called "Structures Inspector"- Israel Civil Administration. At time, a vehicle from the Civil Administration raided the area, hanged the order on the targeted structures and took photos of them before they had left.
