From the beginning of the month of October 2015, the Palestinian territory witnessed a systematic war carried out by the Israeli Occupation Army and settlers living in the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied Palestinian territory. The confrontation began between the Palestinians, who have the right of the land, and the Israeli Army and their settlers, who have nothing unless the military gear. The clashes erupted from the northern parts of the West Bank to its southern between the Palestinians and the Israeli Army and settlers, where a number of Palestinian killed and injured, also several houses, structures and vehicles were damaged, in additional to tens of Palestinians were arrested.
It’s worth to mention, that the Israeli Army used live bullets during the clashes that erupted with the Palestinians.
The scene in the Gaza Strip, wasn’t much different, where the areas along side of the borders, witnessed violent clashes between Palestinians and the Israeli Army, where the Israeli Army used live bullets and teargas grenades, causing the injury of dozens of Palestinians, and a number of Palestinian were killed.
Also, the Israeli Occupation Army carried out air strikes against a number of Palestinian areas in the Gaza strip, which considered a clear and explicit grave of the truce, signed between the Palestinian factions and the Israeli Occupation Authorities after the end of the Israeli war against the Gaza strip on the Summer of 2014.
At the same time, the Israeli Occupation Authorities did not stop publishing new tenders or/and approved plans to construct new colonial housing units in the illegal Israeli settlement in the occupied Palestinian territory. Also they did not stop the ratification of the settlement projects in the occupied city of Jerusalem, with the aim of Judaizing the Holy City.
Furthermore, the Israeli right-wing government started working in public to bury the idea of the Israeli withdrawal from the illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, therefore against the “Two State” solution,
In parallel and for the purpose of fortifying the settlement project in the oPt, what s so-called ““Land of Israel” Lobby” established in the 20th Knesset meeting.
The most important goals for the lobby is working to increase the building rate in the illegal Israeli settlement in the oPt, by applying the Israeli building and construction laws to the Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank.
Accordingly the Israeli settlements will become as any other city in the occupied land in 1948, which means that the Israeli Ministry of “Defense” will no longer have the control over the construction in the Israeli settlement in the oPt, which are subject to political criteria when approving plan to build new housing units in the Israeli settlements.
According to the “Land of Israel” Lobby claims, the construction in the Israeli settlement is limited and not commensurate with the needs of the population, but when the “Political Authority” have no longer control over the construction in the Israeli settlement in the occupied West Bank, the construction in the Israeli settlement will automatically rise.
However, the claim of the “Land of Israel” Lobby not true at all, where during the month of October 2015, the Israeli Prime Minister “Benjamin Netanyahu” approved the expansion plan for the illegal settlement of Itamar, southeast of Nablus city, which located also, in a strategic area the “Corroders area” (the area link between the eastern segregation zone and the western segregation zone). The expansion plan included the approval a number of existing housing units, in additional to the approval of the construction of schools, kindergartens and public buildings.
In addition, the Israeli Civil Administration related to the Israeli Defense Ministry, retroactively approved “zoning plans” for an existing 715 housing units in four illegal settlements in the West Bank. The new approvals including the legalizing of 377 housing units in Yakir settlement in Salfit Governorate, 94 housing units in Shilo settlement in Nablus Governorate, 187 housing units in Itamar settlement in Nablus Governorate, and 97 housing units in Sensana settlement in Hebron Governorate.
Furthermore, the Israeli Occupation Authorities prepared to add about 28 Israeli settlements in the occupied West bank, included the Israeli settlement of Qiryat Arba and the Israeli settlement build in Hebron Governorate, to the tax-break list.
In Hebron Governorate, on the month of October 2015, the Israeli Defense Minister “Moshe Ya’alon, annexed the building of “Beit Al Baraka” and the land surrounded it (total area 40 dunums), to the Israeli settlement bloc of “Gush Etzion”. Beit Al Baraka building located near the Israeli settlement bloc of “Gush Etzion”, adjacent to the Israeli Bypass road No. 60, and near the entrance of Al Arroub refugee camp, north of Hebron city.
And to more narrow on the Palestinians, the Israeli Prime Minister “Benjamin Netanyahu” raised the possibility of canceling the residency status of the 80,000 Palestinians living in East Jerusalem neighborhoods on the other side of the separation wall, and it the Israeli Authorities implements this idea, the demography situation in Jerusalem city will change.
Following are the details about the Israeli Occupation Army and settlers violations against Palestinians during the month of October 2015:-
Israeli settlers carried out more than 200 attacks during the month of October 2015
From the beginning of October 2015, the Israeli settlers increased their attacks against the Palestinians and their properties. Moreover, the killings of Palestinians by the Israeli settlers become more easier, where the Israeli Occupation Authorities deliberately arming the Israeli settlers and trained them to use different type of weapons. Wherefore, the Israeli settlers used the guns in their attacks against Palestinians, although the Israeli Occupation Army supported the Israeli settlers in the most of their attacks against Palestinians….
In total, during the month of October 2015, the Israeli settlers carried out about 244 attacks against Palestinians and their properties in several areas in the occupied West Bank. Where the largest number of attacks recorded in Hebron Governorate, with 67 attacks, while in Nablus Governorate about 52 attacks, and in Jerusalem Governorate reached to 47 attacks.
It’s worth to mention that during the month of October 2015, the Israeli settlers attacks against Palestinians dramatically escalated, and its carried out with the escort of the Israeli Occupation Army. And according to an analysis of the targeted places and areas, it showed that most of the Israeli settlers attacks carried out near the Israeli military checkpoints, and the Israeli bypass roads which used by the Palestinians and the Israeli settlers, and also in areas and villages located nearby the Israeli settlements and the outposts.
On the other hand ,the type of settler attacks, had been characterized by extreme violence towards the Palestinians, where they used machine guns in some of these attacks, which led to the martyrdom of two Palestinians, and wounding several others. Where the number of Israeli settlers attacks against the Palestinians reach to 92 attacks, which included physically assaults, run over them, stabbed and opened fire at Palestinians.
In return, the number of attacks against the Palestinian properties reach to 107 attacks, which included hurling stones and Molotov cocktail at the houses and structures, and tried to storm them.
Moreover, the Israeli settlers with the help form the Israeli colonial organization “Ateret Cohanim” occupied two Palestinian houses in Battan Al Hawa neighborhood in Silwan town in Jerusalem city.
The Israeli settlers carried out a number of demonstrations and protests at the entrances of Palestinian towns and villages, carried out provocative actions, and chanted anti-Palestinian slogans.
As a matter of fact the main reasons of the Palestinian-Israeli clashes during the month of October 2015, was the Israeli procedures in Al Aqsa mosque, which started by the division of Al-Aqsa mosque, where they allowed the Israeli settlers to storm the mosque and toured in its courtyard, where they tried to perform Talmudic rituals. Where the number of Israeli settlers attacks against Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem city, reach to 20 attacks from 27 attacks that carried out against religious and historic sites in the occupied West Bank.
Israeli orders confiscated about 7 dunums of Palestinian land in Nablus Governorate
On the 31st of October 2015, the Israeli Civil Administration handed out military orders to confiscate 6.65 dunums of Palestinian lands in the villages of Beit Furik, Awarta, Yasuf, As-Sawiya and Azmut in Nablus governorate. The Israeli Authorities claimed that targeted land will used for military and security matters.
Israeli bulldozers demolished 4 Palestinian houses and a structure in the Occupied West Bank
During the month of October 2015, the Israeli Occupation bulldozers demolished 4 houses and a structure, where 3 houses and a structured were demolished in Jerusalem Governorate while a house were demolished in Hebron Governorate.
It’s worth pointed that the Israeli Occupation Authorities demolished Palestinian houses owned by families of Palestinian prisoners and martyrs, where the Israeli Authorities claimed that they targeted the security of the “Israel”, and for that they punishment their families by demolishing their houses.
In Jerusalem Governorate, the Israeli Occupation Army demolished an animal shed and two Palestinian houses in Jabal Al Mukabir town, south of Jerusalem city, where the targeted houses are owned by families of Palestinian martyrs. Also, the Israeli Municipality of Jerusalem forced a Palestinian family to demolish their house in Beit Hanina town, north of Jerusalem city, under the claim that the targeted houses “unlicensed”. Noted that the Israeli Authorities handed out the family a demolition order with the imposition of a fine on the owner if the Israeli Army demolish it.
And in Hebron Governorate, the Israeli Occupation Army demolished a Palestinian house in Hebron city owned by a family of a Palestinian prisoner accused for carrying actions against Israeli settlers.
Israeli Military orders to demolish 16 Palestinian houses and structures in several areas in the Occupied West Bank
The Israeli authorities targeted Palestinian houses and structures with the demolition orders. But, the situation during the month of October 2015, was changed, where the Israeli Occupation Authorities issued orders to demolish Palestinian houses located in the area classified as “Area A” (according to Oslo Agreement ,1995), which it is under the fully control of the Palestinian Authorities.
Where in Jerusalem Governorate, the Israeli Authorities issued orders to demolish 5 Palestinian houses, owned by the families of Palestinian martyrs or prisoners. These orders distributed on Jabal Al Mukabir town, the Israeli Authorities issued orders to demolish three houses, and in Sur Baher town, the Israeli Authorities handed out an order to demolish a house. While in the old city of Jerusalem, the Israeli Jerusalem municipal court decided to evacuate a Palestinian house owned by the family of Sub Laban.
In Nablus Governorate, the Israeli Occupation Authorities issued demolition orders that targeted 7 Palestinian houses, where five of the targeted houses located in Nablus city, and a house located in Askar refugee camp, and the last house located in Beit Furik village, southeast of Nablus city.
The targeted houses in Nablus governorate owned by the families of Palestinian martyrs or prisoners in the Israeli Jails.
In Ramallah Governorate, the Israeli Occupation Authorities issued orders to demolish 4 Palestinian houses in the Governorate, where in Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah Governorate, the Israeli Authorities targeted two houses with the demolition orders, in Qalandiya refugee camp, south of Ramallah city, the Israeli Authorities issued an order to demolish a house, while in Surda village, north of Ramallah city, the Israeli Authorities issued an order to demolish a house.
To Conclude
The Israeli settlers war against Palestinian escalated!!!! The war which had prepared by the Israeli Occupation Authorities since years. Where the Israeli Authorities armed and trained the Israeli settlers to kill Palestinians, and protecting their crimes and the failure to prosecute them, and the proof of that is what done by the herds of Israeli settlers during the month of July of 2015, when Israeli settlers set fire in a Palestinian house owned by Ad-Dawabsha family in Duma village in Nablus Governorate.
The whole family members were inside the house, as a result, Ali Dawabsha (18 months), his father and mother were killed and his brother “Ahmed Dawabsha” (4 years) was injured and he is still hospitalized. A number of Israeli settlers were arrested, but later on, the Israeli Authorities released them under the claim of “Lack of sufficient evidence”. Thus, the Israeli Occupation Authorities given the Israeli settlers the green light to move forward in the killings of Palestinians, without fear of punishment.
All of these happened in conjunction with a rapidly inflation in Israeli settlement enterprise in the opt , in light of an International silence and absence of any real effort to protect the Palestinian residents from the aggressive attacks by the Israeli Army and the Israeli settlers.
