Details:
Mohammad Abu Sabha has stated to LRC field researcher that the Israeli occupation authorities sent, on December 25, 2013, orders to civilians compelling them to stop work and construction in three cisterns that are unlicensed.
Abu Sabha said that officers of the Civil Administration accompanied by Israeli soldiers broke into Khirbet al-Fakhit, within Masafer Yatta, where they distributed the stop-work orders on three cisterns used for agricultural purposes and sheep grazing in the Khirbet.
27/01/2014 was set for a court session of the Inspection Subcommittee in Beit El colony to consider whether to "demolish the houses or return them to their previous status."
The cisterns were built in 2013 and presented by Action Against Hunger Organization (ACF International) to help farmers and provide water to around 900 heads of sheep.
