The Israeli Occupation Authorities handed a stop-work order to Ismael Abu Hamdiyya ordering him of immediate stoppage of any construction work in his house. In addition, they issued a demolition order against an agricultural structure in Al Bira, western Dura town. Abu Hamdiyya said that a force of the Israeli Army handed the order to his daughter in law on July 11, 2010. The order is designated against his 4-storey-building with a total area of 680 m2.

Abu Hamdiyya pointed that he has been living in the ground floor for more than 40 years; whereas the other three stories are still under construction. 3 other rooms built by Abu Hamdiyya were also included in the order which stated that the amendments made to the house and the three rooms lack the needed permits.
A hearing session have been set on July 29, 2010, in Beit El Military Court to decide whether they should demolish the whole building or return it to its status quo. Abu Hamdiyya is trying to gather all the needed deeds before the session even though he is sure that he will not receive the needed permit.

On the other hand, a demolition order was issued against an agricultural structure in Al Bira to the west of Dura town. Yasir al ‘Awawda was handed the order on June 29, 2010. He received a stop-work order on March 11, 2010. The 400-square meter-house is still under construction and is to be used as a chicken farm.

The order stated that:’ you are ought to immediately stop any construction and return the building to its status quo on your own expense. This must be done within 7 days’.
