The Israeli Occupation Confiscates Agricultural Facilities in Wad Ar-Rakheem south Yatta

Tuesday, April 20th 2021, the Israeli Occupation Authorities confiscated agricultural facilities in Wadi Ar-Rakheem area south Yatta in Hebron Governorate, on the pretext of building without a license in C area.

An army force accompanied by the building and organization department, a bulldozer and two trucks raided Susiya area, and got to a plot belongs to citizen Ahmed Nawaja’a, and confiscated the following:

  • An old broken truck with a container (used as a store for feeds).
  • A caravan (30 m2) used as a residence.

At the beginning of Autumn, Nawaja’a brough a camel herd to his plot, he also brought a caravan for the herder, while the broken truck was used as a store, both were confiscated without any preceding notices.

Susiya colony is built to the east of Wadi Ar-Rakheem area, colonists prohibit farmers from working at their land, and while the occupation forces protects them as they carry out assaults against Palestinian farmers.

During the Past week, the Occupation Authorities waged a campaign of demolitions and seizures nearby Wad Ar-Rakheem, the Occupation Authorities Confiscated agricultural tents in Susiya and destroyed a cave’s door in At-Tawameen. In addition to demolishing a tent nearby Bani Na’im, without giving a chance for objections.

 In most cases, confiscated properties are kept in “Etzion” colony, the occupation authorities force the owners to pay expensive fines for their properties, and in case they failed to pay the fine before the deadline, the occupation authorities sell them in auction.
