On March 05, 2018, Israeli Occupation Forces set up two metal gates at Khursa village entrance, south Hebron governorate.
It is reported that a force from the occupation army encircled the area, set up the gates and installed cement blocks at the sides of the gates.
It should be noted that the gates were set up at the main road that links Dura village to the southern and western villages. Noteworthy, over 50,000 Palestinians living in 37 villages and communities relative to Dura use that road.In a previous incident, Israeli Occupation Forces established in August 2017 a military watchtower on confiscated 500 dunum land parcel belonging to Shahatit family. At time, the force delivered Palestinian a map illustrating the locations of four metal gates to be set up within area classified "A", which is under Palestinian control according to Oslo Accords.By now, Israel set up 29 gates at the entrances of Palestinian villages, town and refugee camps in Hebron governorate, not mentioning the several checkpoints in the heart of Hebron and its Old City
