Stop-work orders on a residence and water well in the Yatta hamlet of Al-Majaz

Details:

The Israeli occupation authorities served on December 20, 2015 stop-work and construction orders on a residence and water well in Khirbet al-Majaz, east Yatta town on the claim of “unlicensed construction”

It is reported that Israel Civil Administration raided the area and delivered a stop-work order on the residence of Citizen Omar Ali.

The military order (200554) mentioned that the structures were unlicensed and compelled a halt of any construction work on them. January 01, 2016 was assigned as the hearing session of the Inspection Sub-Committee in the court of Beit El colony to consider the status of the notified structures.

It should be marked that the targeted house is built by cement blocks, roofed with metal slaps and is still under construction. The house was supposed to be home for the citizen’s eight member family including 6 minors.

Notifying water well:

The Civil Administration also notified water well owned by citizen Khalid Al-‘Amour through the military order (200555) that was left by the well. It is reported that the Israeli force took photos of the site before they had left.

It should be marked that the well is in last phase of construction and was built to serve agricultural purposes. The well is of 600m3 in volume.
