Description:
The Israeli Occupation authorities issued halt of work notices for agricultural facilities , and a final demolition notice for a house on the pretext of building without a license in Idhna west Hebron.
First: Demolition of a house:
Citizen Basim Abu Jhaisha received a final demolition order for his house in Wad Risha southwest the town.
Abu Jhaisha pointed out that a vehicle belongs to the Israeli occupation Forces accompanied by officers from the building and organization department arrived at the house , on Monday February 20th 2022 , about 10:00 am, the building inspector wrote the notice and hanged it on the wall then withdrew.

The demolition order is numbered (61667) entitled final halt of work and demolition order , it ordered the occupation authorities to demolish the structures immediately , and threatened to carry out the demolition within 7 days after receiving the notice , and make the owner pay all the costs.

The Demolition order targets house of Abu Jhaisha which is built since 2019 of cement and stones , with a total area of (260 m2) inhabited by a family of (8) among them (6 children and 5 females).
In November 7th 2021 , the occupation authorities issued halt of work and demolition orders on a house and a facility built of steel sheets , the owner prepared the necessary file for the demolition , and filed it to the occupation authorities , they also hired a lawyer to follow up with the case and file an objection , however the occupation authorities refuse licenses applications , and avoid issuing a licensing applications , they issue demolition notices against Palestinian structures and carry out demolitions.
Violation: Halt of Work Notice for An Agricultural facility:
Citizen Nidal Batran received a halt of work notice on the pretext of building without a license in agricultural structures he owns in Khallet Mharib west Idhna.
Al-Batran said that a vehicle related to the building and organization department at the civil administration, raided the western part of Idhna town in Monday February 20th 2022, the building inspector wrote the notices and hanged them on the structures.

The Occupation authorities in notice number (31155) ordered the immediate stoppage of construction works and sat March 14th 2022, as the date pf the building and organization session to return the place to its previous status.
The Occupation authorities targeted the following facilities:
- Water harvesting pool: with a storage capacity of (1100 m3) excavated into the ground, to be used at an agricultural project on a plot (14 dunums) where he is planning to install green houses to provide a source of income for the family of 5 members , among them (3 children and 2 females).
- Under construction agricultural pool, with a total area of 40 m2 built of bricks without a ceiling that will be used as a store for agricultural tools.

- A room built of isolated steal sheets, with a total area of 20 m2 built on a baton floor , connected to services and electricity , the owner uses at his plot , where he built it in 2020.

Third: Notice for Al-‘Awawdeh cemetery:
In February 6th 2022 , the occupation forces served a halt of work notice for a cemetery in Wad Naqa west Idhna.
Nemr Al-‘Awawdeh (55) told LRC the following: “I donated a plot with a total area of 1 dunum to make a cemetery for my family , because the one we use in Idhna has no space left for new graves. We made 17 graves covered with baton , we also buried someone who died recently in one of the graves, but we were shocked of a halt of work and demolition notice on the cemetery.”

The Occupation authorities ordered the immediate stoppage of construction works , and sate February 23rd 2022 as the date of the inspection subcommittee to decide the fate of the structures.
Al-‘Awawdeh pointed out that he has legal papers to prove he owns the land, and will assign a lawyer to object.

It is 18km west of Hebron. According to statistics conducted in 2017, Idhna is inhabited by 26,009 people. It has a total area of 26,447 dunums, 2653 of which are the village’s built-up area.
The Israeli occupation confiscated 107 dunums of Idhna for the Apartheid Wall. Not only that, more than 3,511 dunums were isolated behind the wall as a result of its construction.
Besides, the bypass road number 35 -that is 4,674 meters long- confiscated more than 467 dunums from the village lands.
