Violation: 5 stop-work orders for houses in Haris.
Location: Al Wajh al Shami, Haris – Salfit.
Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Organization and Construction Committee.

Details:
On October 3, 2011, officers of the so-called Organization and Construction Committee accompanied by Israeli troops broke into Haris and served the locals 5 stop-work orders against 6 structures on the pretext of no construction permit in area classified ‘C’ according to Oslo. The orders specified October 27, 2011, as the date of the hearing session to be held in Beit El Military Court.

It must be noted that Haris tally of received ordered has reached 23 orders designated against various structures on the same pretext of no construction permit. However, these orders are issued to serve the Israeli colonization policy.
Haris Village:
The village of Haris is located 7 kilometers west of the city of Salfit. The total area of the village is 8,769 dunums while its buildup area is about 320 dunums. The population of the village is 3,740 (PCBS, 2009).
