- Location: Immatin Village / East Qalqilya.

- Perpetrators: Colonists of the illegal colony “Immanuel”.
- Victims: Citizen Ahmed Hussain.
Description:
September 20th 2020 , a group of colonists set up three caravans leveling to take over vast areas of agricultural lands belong to citizen Ahmed Hussain who currently lives in Jordan , the targeted plot is in natural block 7 of Immatin , in an area also known as “Khallet Iqtaish” , noting that the targeted plot is (10 dunums).
The Affected Citizen Ahmed Hussain told LRC :
“I own a plot with a total area of 40 dunums in Khallet Qtaish , 30 dunums of which are olive groves , The remaining ten dunums were planted several times but colonists would uproot the trees every time , and 4 years ago they set fire to the whole ten dunums. Since Israeli colonists built Immanuel colony nearby , they turned the plot into a dump site , a year and a half ago we planted the plot with olive trees , but they were damaged as a result of colonists excessive dumping on the plot”.
Ahmed Hussain asserted:
“The Occupation tried to take over 10 dunums of my plot through declaring them as an Israeli State property, I submitted an objection in the Israeli Supreme court in 2014 to no avail. Once again in July 6th 2020 , the so called governmental properties department in the Israeli Civil Administration issued a military order declaring that my plot is a governmental property , and a while later colonists decided to set up a siege around the plot on the pretext that it is under the administration of the Immanuel colony regional council , most recently fanatic colonists set up three caravans on my plot leveling to take over it for Immanuel’s future expansion, but I will defend my land until the last breath and will go again to the occupation’s court”.
