Stop-work Orders in Taroosa
Violation: stop-work orders for 3 residences.
Date: 04/02/2013
Location: Taroosa, Dura – Hebron.
Perpetrators: the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration.
Details:
On December 17, 2012, the Israeli Occupation Authorities handed three Palestinians stop-work orders for their residences located in Tawoosa to the west of Dura. The owners said that Israeli troops accompanied by officers of the so-called Civil Administration broke into the village and placed the orders on the threatened residences. The orders claimed that 'the houses were built prior to obtaining proper permits' and demanded immediate stoppage of construction.
A hearing session has been set on January 9, 2013 in Beit El Military Court to decide on 'demolition or returning to the status quo'. The owners embarked on preparing the needed documents to defend their properties and their right.
