Description:
June 2nd 2020, the occupation authorities issued military orders to demolish two houses in Deir Al-‘Assal Al-Fouqa west Hebron, on the pretext of building without licenses.
According to eyewitnesses:
“A white Toyota accompanied by an army patrol raided the village, got to the location, and hanged the notice on the targeted houses, then told the owners to stop working on them.”
The notices are entitled “Attachment to – A demolition announcement”, on which the occupation authorities claim that the construction was illegal , and gave the owners only 7 days before carrying out the demolition operation.
This is known as Security – military demolition notices issued by the Israeli occupation army commander against houses built close to the Annexation and Expansion Wall , which is used as a pretext to carry out the demolition under security claims.
Noteworthy, the owners said that they haven’t received any halt of work or confiscation notices, and they are built within the village built up area , at a location classified B in Oslo accords.
The annexation and expansion wall devoured vast areas of Deir Al-‘Assal Al-Fouqa lands, and now people of the village are not allowed to use their lands.

The targeted houses belong to:
- Sadam Shawamra: He owns a house built of two floors with a total area of 200 m2 , the construction of the house started In September 2019 and still under construction , it is supposed to be a home for a family of 3, among them one child.

- Fayez Shawamra: The house is built of strengthened cement (one floor), and it is still under construction, it has a total area of 130 m2 , and was supposed to be a home for a family of 10 , 7 of them are children.
