Description:
In January 13th 2020, the Israeli occupation authorities issued halt of work orders and final demolition orders on houses and facilities in Guzaiwi area south Yatta.
Affected citizens said that a vehicle related to the building and organization department in the civil administration accompanied by an army patrol raided Al-Ghuzaiwi area in Karmel village, and walked around the area , then the inspecting officer wrote military orders and signed final demolition orders, and put it on houses and facilities , then took pictures of them before withdrawing.

- Citizen Khalil Issa Raba’e : He received halt of work order number (00084), targeting a building of cement and bricks with an area of (280 m2) built since 2019 , and divided into two parts, one of them is an apartment for the family of 15 , among them 9 children , and the other is used as a barn.

- Citizen Ahmad Dababsa : He received a halt of work order number (00085) that targets a (barracks ) , which has an area of (1000 m2) , and supposed to be used as a cow farm, it was built late 2019.

- Citizen Qassim Abu Tahfa : He received a halt of work order on an under construction agricultural room , built of bricks and concreted cement , it has an area of (20 m2) , and built since 2019.

As mentioned in the notice , the occupation forces requested the immediate stoppage of constructions , on the pretext of building without licenses , and set February 3rd 2020 as the subcommittee session in “Beit El” military court to decide the fate of the structure.

- Military order number (508979): it targets a house and a cistern , both owned by citizen Anan Hushiya , the house has an area of (120 m2) and inhabited by a family of 6 , of which 4 are children, and built in 2018, it also targets a household well that has a storage capacity of 100 m3 to harvest rainwater.

- Military order number (508980): which targets a house that belong to Mahmoud Raba’e , built of bricks and cement since 2018 , and inhabited by a family of 9,7 of them are children , it has an area of (140 m2).

- Military order number (508981): which targets an agricultural room used for cattle breeding, owned by Mahmoud Raba’e , it is built of bricks walls and a steal sheets ceiling , it has an area of 560 m2 , and built since 2018.

- Military order number (508983): which targets a house that belong to Qusay Raba’e , built of bricks and cement since 2018 , it consists of two floors and inhabited by a family of 2, it has an area of (250 m2).

In reality, the issue is not about unlicensed construction , it is on the occupation’s intention to take over more lands in the area of their control (Area C according to Oslo Accords). The Israeli occupation considers such lands as a colonial reserve, which will be hard to negotiate on in any future agreements with Palestinians.
