The Israeli occupation municipality does not rest for a day, from notifying and demolishing Jerusalemites’ houses under several pretexts.
In Wednesday, September 18th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces accompanied by a staff from the municipality raided Al-‘Isawiya , and took pictures of several structures before giving their owners a summons, as Mohammad Abu Humus member of monitoring committee in Al-‘Isawiya.
Noteworthy, there are tens of buildings and hundreds of apartments in Al-Isawiya threatened of demolition on the pretext of building without licenses , the occupation municipality files criminal charges against Jerusalemites on the pretext of violating licensing procedures , and impose on them high fines that may reach hundred thousands of shekels , this comes with Israeli negligence towards Al-Isawiya , where the Palestinian authorities are not allowed to work or organize , but also the Israeli authorities refuse to draw an organizational plan or provide services in Al-Isawiya, but rushes to demolish any new structures . these policies aim to push Jerusalemites to build outside the borders of Jerusalem , which according to the Israeli law will cause them to lose their residence permits in Jerusalem.
