7 August 2019, The Israeli occupation authorities issued a demolition order on a house belongs Mohammad Al-Swaity in Beit ‘Awwa west Hebron.
Al-Swaity told LRC reporter that a vehicle related to the civil administration and an army patrol raided “Khallet Al-Foul” area west the village , and reached the house , and the so called construction officer assigned a demolition order and put it on the house door, and took pictures before withdrawing.
The military order (508840) was entitled (a final halt of work and demolition order) gave the owners only 30 to demolish the house, in case he breached the deadline , the occupation forces will implement the operation and file the costs on the owner.

In 30 January 2019, The occupation authorities issued a halt of work on the house , on the pretext of building without licenses , Al-Swaity prepared a legal file for the licensing procedures and filed it to a legal aid institution . But as usual, the occupation authorities refused to provide licenses for the house. For more information read LRC report about the case (Arabic, English).

Reportedly , the targeted house consists of two floors, built of stones and concrete , it has a total area of 300 m2 and still under construction , it was supposed to be a home for a family of 3 (with 1 child).

An order to demolish a facility:
In 19 June 2019 , the occupation authorities issued a final demolition order on a commercial facility owned by Osama Al-Swaity in Khallet Al-Foul east Beit Awwa, on the pretext of building without licenses.

The occupation authorities issued demolition order number ( 508741) , and requested the immediate stoppage of construction , and gave the owner only 7 days to implement the demolition , and threatened that in case he breached the deadline the occupation forces will implement the operation and make him pay for the costs.
In 28 March 2019 , the occupation authorities issued a halt of work order on the targeted facility , and set 1st of May 2019, as the subcommittee session to decide wither to “Demolish the structure” or return it to its previous status , later on they revealed their intention of demolishing the structure, read the following LRC repot: Arabic, English.
The targeted facility (2000 m2) is built of steel sheets since 2019 , and used as a storage for woods and furniture .
Noteworthy, The owners of the house and facility filed for licenses on their structures , and hired lawyers to follow up their cases, but the occupation authorities never provide licenses for Palestinians in C area.
According to a new study published by a leftist organization “Peace Now” , the occupation authorities gave a license to one building in 2014 , out of 440 licenses applications in the same year, while in 2015 the occupation authorities gave (7) construction licenses out of 385.
On the other hand, the occupation authorities authorized the construction of several settlements and outposts in the occupied West Bank, which is considered illegal by international law.

Beit Awwa is located 17 km to the west of Hebron city and is edged by Deir Samit village from the north, occupied territories of 1948 from the west, Dura village from the east and Sikka and Tawas villages from the south.
Its population mounts to 10,436 (2017 census) people. Beit Awwa’s total land area is 22,428 dunums, of which1048 dunums are considered the village’s built-up area.
Israeli colonies confiscated 152 dunums from Beit Awwa lands. Negohot colony that was established in 1982 confiscated around 112 dunums and is now home for 134 colonists. Also, Mirshalem colony confiscated 40 dunums from the village.
The apartheid wall is founded on 4061 meters from the area and was reported to confiscate 406 dunums and to isolate 380 other dunums behind its construction.+
