An army force accompanied by an officer from the building and organizing department raided Al-Aqaba area east Tubas, and served military orders to several agricultural structures, that are located in C area according to Oslo conventions.

Sami Sadeq head of the municipal council told LRC reporter:
“The targeted facilities are located north the town , in an area that was used as a military camp few years ago. The plot contains arable land that if used, may provide tens of Jobs. But the occupation authorities prohibit Palestinian farmers from cultivating the area, and destroy any new structures, in order to keep it as a reserve for colonial expansion.”
According to the village council , the Israeli occupation served military orders to more than 26 residential and agricultural structures, in addition to demolishing 17 facilities on the pretext that they lack licensing.

It is located 5 km to the north east of Tubas, Al-Aqaba is surrounded by Ibziq (north), Tayaseer (west) , Al-Malih (east), Yarza hamlet (south).
Al-Aqaba has a population of 168 people in 2017 censes.
Its total area is 5057 dunums with only 40 dunums designated for construction according to the Israeli organizational plan.
There are 50 dunums exploited by colonization.
According to Oslo conventions, all of the villages lands are within C area. Thus, the occupation uses the town as ground for military trainings and camps.
