Details:
The Israeli occupation authorities on September 16, 2015 served stop-work orders on two houses in the area of Al-Mayyih hamlet, east Yatta town. The Israeli occupation authorities mentioned that the two houses were “unlicensed” and set October 15, 2015 as the hearing session of the Inspection Sub-Committee, Israel Civil Administration in the Israeli court of Beit El to consider the status of the notified structures.
The notified residences belong to the following:
- Citizen Mohammad Makhamrih (41): he was served a stop-work order on his one story house that is still under construction; the house is of 150m2 in area and is supposed to be home for 7 member family including 5 children. Construction of the house started in 2015.

The stop-work order also reached out a cement wall surrounding the house. Noteworthy, the 400 m wall is still under construction.

- Citizen Ismael Al-Najar (51): he was served a stop-work order on his one story house that is still under construction; the house is of 200m2 in area and is supposed to be home for 9 member family including 2 children. Construction of the house started in 2015.

Al-Mayyih hamlet:
It is located to the east of Yatta town with a total population of 4000 people and is run by a village council. The hamlet has a partially paved network of roads but still lacks a water network. It is edged by the village of Um lisfa from the east, Yatta town from the west, bypass road no. 60 from the north and Al-Karmil village from the south.
