Details:
The Israeli occupation forces closed on July 22, 2017 the entrance of Nabi Saleh village and imposed a military siege alongside the bypass road traveling in the area.
Noteworthy, the closed entrance is considered vital for the village and a linking point with neighboring towns and cities. Residents of the area take it to reach their daily destinations, work and schools. Also, it serves the economical wheel of the area and reinforces business,
Reportedly, the entrance was closed several times during the past couple of years. The Israeli Occupation Forces intend to close the entrance to harass the residents and humiliate them.

It should be noted that Nabi Saleh checkpoint "metal gate" was established in 2000. It is a witness of the occupation violent practices that are against international conventions and human laws. Reportedly, such practices aim at harassing Palestinians and serve the implementation of detention and arrest cases.
About Nabi Saleh:
It is located 20km to the northwest of Ramallah city. The village is 2960 dunums in area and populates about 1180 inhabitants.
Land Research Center sees that the policy of roads closures as a collective punishment to limit down Palestinians' movement.
