It should be noted Planning and Construction Committee- Israel Civil Administration delivered on January 11, 2017 Bardala village council two stop-work orders, targeting water supply pipeline (5km) that provides the whole area with water.
The order was served on the claim of "unlicensed construction".
According to the orders, February 02, 2017 was assigned as the hearing session for the Planning and Construction Committee- Israel Civil Administration in the Israeli court of Beit El colony to consider the status of the notified structure.
The first order number 203724 targeted the water pipeline (3.6 km* 6inch) that provides water to 260 agricultural dunums in the western side of the village.
The second order number203676 targeted the water pipeline (1.6 km* 6inch) that provides water to 150 agricultural dunums in the southwestern side of the village.
It should be noted that the targeted pipelines were constructed by the beginning of 2017 through Agricultural Work Committees to help lands owners in the area.

Bardala and the occupation water policies:
It should be noted that the Israeli intended to dig artisan wells next to the four wells existing the area. This caused the wells to dry up and therefore residents of the area became forced to buy water from the Israeli Mekorot water company.
About Bardala
25 km to the north of Tubas, Bardala village is surrounded by the Green Line (north), Raba (west), Ain al Baeda (east) and Tubas (south).
It has a population of 1637 people( 2007 census). Its total area is 18329 dunums, of which 404 dunms are considered built-up area.
The Israeli occupation devoured 252 dunums of its land to build bypasses road , especially road no.90. It also confiscated 819 dunums to build the Separation Wall and isolated 2100 dunums of Bardala land as a result.
According to Oslo Accords, 90% of the village is classified as area "C", which is under Israeli authority while only 5% is area "B" that is under the control of PA.
