Israeli occupation authorities served on January 24, 2017 stop-work orders on two health clinics in the Yatta hamlets of Asafi and Al-Majaz. Noteworthy, the orders were served on the claim of "unlicensed construction".
Yatta village council told Land Research Center that a staff from the so-called Israel Civil Administration accompanied by an army patrol raided the two hamlets and notified the clinics of stop-work. Photos of the structures were taken before the force had left as a proof.

The orders stated that the structures were built without any proper license\ permit and order immediate halt on all construction works. February 12, 2017 was assigned as the hearing session of the Inspection Sub-Committee of Israel Civil Administration in the court of Beit El colony to consider the legal status of the notified structures.
It should be noted that the clinics are made of metal slaps and are founded on 25-30m2 cement foundation. Each clinic has a mobile toilet facility. Noteworthy, Italian Cooperation gifted three clinics to three Palestinian hamlets namely (Safi, Al-Majaz and Al-Mirkiz). The clinics were supposed to contract with a doctor, a laboratory expert and nurse to work one day each clinic over the week.
It is reported that Israeli Occupation Forces and a staff from the Civil Administration confiscated on December 10, 2016 the clinic of Al-Mirkiz hamlet. At time, the force took photos of the other clinics in threatening step of future confiscation.
Al-Majaz:
It is one of the residential community in Yatta town, it populates 250 people who live off of livestock and poultry husbandry in addition to cultivation. The hamlet recently fell under the administration of a village council. Residents of the area live in basic house built by metal slaps and cement.
Safi :
It is one of the residential community in Yatta town, it populates 170 people who live off of livestock and poultry husbandry in addition to cultivation. The hamlet has a total built-up area of 34 dunums, where residents live in basic tents, caves and house built by metal slaps and cement. Noteworthy, the Israeli colony of Ma'on is founded to the north of hamlet; the colony was founded confiscated lands from the area.
