The colonists of Yizhar are considered the most fanatic ones in the colonies of the West Bank, who were raised up on the doctrine of extremism and hatred of Arabs by their rabbis.
It should be marked that a group of fanatic colonists from Itamar on October 01, 2015 embarked on attacking cars and people under the watchful eye and protection of the Israeli Forces in the nearby area of the colony. This riot came in synchronization with killing a colonist and his wife when they were on their way to back to the colony, east Nablus city. Many people got injured and more than twenty cars were damaged as a result.
Citizen Aayed Al-Amer (51) and his son (11) were on their way to Nablus from Ramallah city when Aayed was surprised by a group of masked colonists 100m away from Huwwara checkpoint. Colonists started pelting stones at Aayed’s 2001 Volkswagen and tried to kill him and his son but they managed to flee to the checkpoint, which was entirely closed by then. The car was taken to the entrance of Itamar colony, where colonists set it on fire.
It should be marked that the citizen managed to restore his car, which was entirely burned down, through the help of District Coordination Office.

Noteworthy, the Israeli Forces provide full support and protection for colonists at times of attacks and violations against Palestinians.
