The Israeli Occupation is systematically escalating its aggression against the Palestinian residents and their properties in all over oPt; where these attacks targeted all sources and elements of equated life and development, particularly water that is a main ingredient for survival for all Human begins.
On September 8, 2011, and without a prior notification, the Israeli Occupation Army bulldozers accompanied with Israeli Army Forces along with officers from what is so-called the “Israeli Civil Administration” stationed in An-Nassariyya village, east of Nablus Governorate and at the northern parts of the Jordan Valley demolished 4 artesian wells for local residents from the village.
ARIJ field workers visited An-Nassariyya village and interviewed the owners of the demolished wells:
- The first artesian well owned by the local resident Nabil ‘Adel Salim Judeh who said that the Israeli Army demolished the well for the first time in July 12, 2011, and the second time was in September 8, 2011, even though he had a permit for the well from the “Palestinian Water Authority”. He added that the Israeli Army in the first demolition confiscated 100 thousand NIS installations including two diesel engines and water pumps, and the cost of rebuilding the well summed to 180 thousand NIS.
