Violation: an order for capturing 16 dunums of agricultural fields.

Details:
On November 6, 2012, the Israeli Occupation Civil Administration notified Palestinian farmers of the immediate takeover of their agricultural lands. An order entitled ‘an order for immediate capture and the right to use number H/01/2012’ which was issued by the Israeli Occupation Army. The order targeted lands in parcel 4, Al AQban area and parcel 11, Fadel and Khallit um Dyoof areas.
The order also declared the Civil Administration intention to carry out a field visit to the targeted locations and called for the owners to join them. The order granted the owners the right to demand compensation for their loss. The total targeted area is 16 dunums which are to be fenced.
The owners coordination with Bethlehem Governorate to object to the order and prepare the needed documents for doing so. The Governorate in turn assigned a lawyer to follow the case up.
The lawyer coordinated with the Civil Administration to carry out a joint field visit to the targeted locations but the Israelis did not show up on the specified date which was described by the Governorate as an irresponsible act.
