Date: 18/12/2013
Location: Deir Ballot
Perpetrators: Alon Hagb'a company
Victims: 11 families from the area
Details:
Within the context of colonial expansions on different colonies, an Israeli company named Alon Hag'ba, that is located in the colony of Shilo, claimed owning 139 dunums and 533m from the lands of Deir Ballot village; more specifically in the area known as Um al-Aqaba within the natural block no.2, piece no 20.
On December 18th, al-Qudus newspaper featured an advertisement deposited by Alon Hagb'a company to offer an objection and to complete all licensing procedures. The company, according to the ad, claimed that it bought the aforementioned piece of land.
It should be marked that any action of land purchase and sell at wartime in addition to property transfer are considered illegal and fraud according to many international conventions; especially the Hague convention. Despite all of that, the occupation invested all efforts in looting the land and falsify and change facts on the ground using inhumane means to achieve its Judaization plan.
