Description:
Wednesday, August 3rd 2022, the Israeli Occupation Authorities served a demolition notice in She’ab Al-Butum village in Masafer Yatta south Hebron , and destroyed an electricity network in At-Tawani village , on the pretext of building without a license.
Israeli troops and building and organization department at the Israeli Civil Administration raided the area, the building inspector wrote the notices, hanged them on the targeted structures and withdrew.
The Occupation Authorities order to demolish what was built within 7 days , and threatened in case the citizens did not carry out the demolition operation , the Israeli troops will carry out the demolition.
The notices targeted the following structures:
- Demolition order no (62094): Which targets two agricultural rooms in She’ab Al-Butum schools , that citizens had donated to build for ninth and tenth grades at the village school , the rooms were built at the beginning of 2022 , of bricks and steal sheets and have a total area of (25 m2).
In March 14th 2022, The Occupation Authorities served halt of work notices for the two rooms , and came back later to give a final demolition order.
Demolition order no 62094 which targets classrooms
- Demolition Order no (622167) which targets an electricity network in At-Tawani village , that used to belong to the village council and provided electricity to the southern neighborhood of the village (about 10 houses) , the network composes of wooden columns and cables (about 400 m).
March 27th 2022, The Occupation authorities targeted an electricity network with halt of work notice on the pretext of building without a license.
- Halt of work notice (32307) : which targets an agricultural room built of bricks and steal sheets that belong to citizen Hani Aj-Jabareen in She’ab Al-Butum , and have a total area of (25 m2), that the owner had built in his land to store agricultural tools.
In the notices, the occupation authorities ordered the immediate stoppage of construction works , and sat August 17th 2022 , as the date of the inspection sub-committee to decide the fate of the structure.
