Description:
Wednesday, March 3rd 2022, The Israeli Occupation Authorities issued a halt of work notice for four houses in Aj-Juwaya area east Yatta town , on the pretext of building without a license.
Eyewitnesses from Aj-Juwaya said that two Israeli vehicles raided Aj-Juwaya area about 11:00 am , and the building inspector wrote the notices , hanged them on the houses and took pictures of them before withdrawing.
The Notices were entitled “Halt of work” notices that ordered the immediate stoppage of construction works , and sat March 23rd 2022 , as the date of the building and organization session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structures.
The notices targeted the following structures:
- Notice no. (32055) which targets a house belongs to Ismail Nawaja’a , which consists of one floor and built of stones and cement , with a total area of (150 m2) built of bricks and cement , and still under construction , it was supposed to end at 2021.

- Notice no.32056: Targets a house belongs to citizen Mahmoud An-Nawaja’a , who supports a family of 8 among them 3 children, and 4 females , the house has a total area of (150 m2) built of bricks and cement , and still under construction , the construction of the house started at the end of 2021.

- Notice no. (32057) which targets a house belongs to citizen Yousif Nawaja’a , who supports a family of 6 , among them 4 children , and 2 females , the house has a total area if (170 m2) and still under construction , which started at the beginning of 2022.

- Notice no. (32058) which targets a house belongs to citizen Jebril Nawaja’a , with a total area of (70 m2) and still under construction , built of bricks and steal sheets , with an outdoor bathroom , it is supposed to live in it with his wife, the construction started in 2021.

Noteworthy, Aj- Jawaya area is located to the east of Yatta, and the occupation authorities heavily targets the area with halt of work orders for houses and facilities to stop clonial expansion , the area is surrounded by several paletsinian villages (Al-Barka , Al-Karmel , and Ma’in) , but the occupation authorities however hinder construction at the are , the village is always surrounded by the bypass road (356) from the east.
