Monday, July 26th 2021, the Israeli occupation authorities issued a halt of work notice for citizen Farhan As-Salameen on the pretext of building without a license in Khirbet As-Semya west As-Samou’.
As-Salameen (60 years) said that a vehicle from the building and organization department in the Civil Administration protected by an army patrol raided the area west the village , and the building inspector wrote the halt of work notice , hanged it on the house and took a picture of it before withdrawing.
In notice number (31956) the occupation authorities ordered the immediate stoppage of construction works on the pretext of building without a license, and sat August 2nd 2021 as the date of the subcommittee session in Beit El military court to decide the fate of the structure.

The Occupation Authorities gave As-Salameen (7 days) to file an objection, a very short period that contradicts with the Jordanian Law (Cities and villages Organization law number 79 for 1966) , which the occupation authorities claim to refer to in issuing the notice.
Reportedly, the targeted house is built of bricks and cement, and has a total area of (160 m2) , As-Salameen started building the house in 2013 and still under construction.
The house was supposed to be a home for a family of 12 (of which 1 child and 4 females).

As-Semya hamlet is located to the west of As-Samou’ village, and is bordered by bypass 60 (east), and “Otniel” illegal settlement (north). Noteworthy, the occupation authorities confiscated the steel sheets that are parts of A-Semya school, at the beginning of this Year.
