During February 2021, Land Research Center – Arab Studies Society, the Occupation ratified colonial expansionist Schemes on 532 dunums of West Bank Lands.
Reportedly, Nine colonization projects were announce by the Colonization Subcommittee on The Israeli Ministry of Finance Website, part of the projects were deposited (subject to objections), while the rest are valid (final approval and licensing). Noteworthy, 6 of the notices were deposited, and 3 were approved.
Among the deposited projects was Plan (19/3/14/426) to Expand Beitar Ellit, built on Nahalin and Husan west Bethlehem.
The Plan targeted natural blocks (3,4) of Nahalin town , in Dhaher Al-Metraseh and Al-Kabeera Khirbet, it will also take part of natural block (3) of Husan in Wadi Abu Hamra location.
Analyzing the plan, you will find that the Occupation is planning to expand “Beitar Ellit” colony and connecting its eastern part to the western part, The Palestinian village Nahalin is on the way to losing vast areas of lands for illegal colonization. The area between Nahalin neighborhoods and the colonial plot is 200 m.
The Occupation is apparently continuing its Colonization policies, despite the international pressure , the occupation prepared colonial scheme to expand colonies on 1211 dunums of west bank lands in 2021.
