Violation details:
On Tuesday, September 29, 2020, the Israeli occupation authorities notified the suspension of work and construction of a house, an agricultural facility, and a water well, owned by Mr. Raed Ahmed Muhammad Idais under the pretext of building without a permit, in the village of Karma, south of Hebron.
Citizen Idais told the Land Research Center’s researcher the following:
” A vehicle manned by the so-called construction inspector of the Planning and Building Department of the Israeli ” civil” administration in the West Bank raided the village and stopped at my facilities. The inspector wrote notices, attached them to the facilities, and took pictures of them before leaving the site”. The notices ordered me to immediately stop the construction works under the pretext of commencing them without a permit, and fixed a date for a hearing session to be held by the inspection department’s subcommittee on 19/10/2020 , whose headquarters is at the settlement of Beit El”.

The occupation targeted the facilities of the citizen, Idais, with two notices that came as follows:
First: Notice No. 30852: The following facilities have been targeted:
1- A 160m2 house, built in 2016, and inhabited by 15 people;
2- A 60m2 livestock barn: built of cement walls;
3- A 460m2 livestock barrack hosting 270 heads of livestock;
4- A 20m2 external toilet, built of concrete;
5- A 15m2 Taboon -traditional bakery- built of bricks and roofed with tin.
Second: Notice No. 30853 targeting a cistern, with a capacity of about (150 m3), dug into the ground and roofed with reinforced concrete for rain harvest intended for agricultural irrigation and providing drinking water for livestock.
It should be noted that the occupation authorities are increasing their pressure against the owners of agricultural projects located along the road linking this village with the village of BeitUmrah, through issuance of demolition and stop wok notices.
