Description:
Israeli occupation authorities are still escalating their attacks on agricultural facilities at al Tybeh area located in the East of Tarqumia town in Hebron Governorate. It’s hardly to live a day without any Israeli violation against the land and the living in that area. Moreover, this area is a fertile agricultural land. Farmers are now investing more in their farmlands, especially in light of the “Corona” pandemic that swept the world, and in light of the economic crisis that accompanied the deteriorating health conditions in the West Bank.
Since the declaration of a state of emergency in the Palestinian territories to confront the “Corona” pandemic at the beginning of March 2020, the Occupation Violations Monitoring Team at the Land Research Center has documented the distribution of (14) halt of work and demolition orders in area. Additionally, it implemented (4) Demolition operations.
Recently in 19th April the occupation authorities distributed (4) halt of work notices that targeted (3) agricultural rooms, and a halt of work notice for a cistern under the pretext of building without a permit.
On the aforementioned date, a force of the occupation army, accompanied by the so-called Planning and Building Department of the Civil Administration, raided the area, and the so-called building inspector wrote notices, attached them to the threatened buildings and took pictures of them. It demanded in its notices to “stop the construction works immediately”. And set the date of (19\5\2020) for the subcommittee session in Beit el military court to decide the fate of the structure.
Israeli notices targeted the following citizens’ facilities:
1– Citizen Ayed Muhammad Fatafta: received a halt of work notice for an agricultural room built of bricks with a zinc roof, in area of 50 m2 , the owner was using at as a resting place and storage for agricultural tools.

2- Citizen Kayed Ahmed Fatafta: he received a halt of work notice for an agricultural room, built of stones and roofed with reinforced concrete, with an area of (60 square meters) also used for agricultural purposes.
3- Citizen Tariq Dhabayneh: he received a halt of work notice for an agricultural room (kitchen and bathroom) built of stone and reinforced concrete, with an area of (70 m2).
