Monday, January 27th 2020 , the Israeli Occupation authorities notified two agricultural facilities on the pretext of working without licenses in Al-Fakhit village in Masafer Yatta.
An army patrol accompanied by members from the building and organization department in the civil administration showed up at the location of the targeted facilities, the building officer wrote the notices and hanged them on the structures before withdrawing.
In the notices entitled (Halt of work notice – building), the occupation authorities ordered the immediate stoppage of construction works, and set (February 17th 2020) as the date of the subcommittee session -The High Organization Council in order to decide the fate of the targeted facilities.
It has became well known that the occupation’s subcommittee never provides licenses for Palestinians and always comes up with pretexts to demolish Palestinian structure , in fact these are only formal requirements before issuing a demolition order.
The notices targeted facilities that belong to:
- Citizen Mohammad Abu Sabha: Muhammad received halt of work notice numbered (00091) that targeted his agricultural facility (A barracks built of steel sheets and metal polls) , it was built in 2018 with an area of 120 m2 , and used in cattle breeding.

- Citizen Yassir Abu Sabha: Yassir received halt of work notice entitled (00090) , which targets an agricultural facility used in cattle breeding ; a barracks built of steel sheets and metal polls , built since 2018 with an area of 120 m2.

About Al-Fakhit[1]:
Al-Fakhit village is relative to Masafer Yatta area and populates about 80 people who live off of agriculture and animal husbandry. The village is edged by Al-Majaz village from the east, Al-Tawamin and Shu’ub Al-Butm from the west, Al-Tabban from the north and Al-Halawah and the apartheid wall from the south.
The village has a total built-up area of 7 dunums only, where most structures are notified of stop-work and demolition by the Israeli Occupation Authorities.
