Violation: grabbing lands.

Victims: Bedouin and rural communities in the area.
Description:
A group of As-Suweida outpost settlers were seen placing signs using metal sticks on vast areas of agricultural lands in Muzokah and As-Suweida leveling to take over them.
In the same context, Israeli troops implanted a metal gate on bypass 90 to the road leading to As-Suweida and signboards warning farmers from accessing the area.
Human-rights activist Aref Daraghmeh told LRC observer:
“Settlers under the protection of the IOF aim to take over vast areas of agricultural dunums and postures. Noteworthy, these lands are registered in the names of farmers from Tubas city like Dababt , Abu Mutawe’ and Al-Anabsa, while the occupation authorities consider these lands a state’s property.”
In 2016 a group of settlers placed a tent on a hill in As-Suweida’ , the situation escalated, more tents and farms were added, in addition to assaults on farmers in daily basis attempting to evict the area from Palestinian farmers.
Today, same settlers are adding signs on lands leveling to take over hundreds of agricultural dunums and announcing them inaccessible for Palestinian farmers.

As-Sueida and AlMuzokeh hamlets’ residents were dislodged in 1967; The Israeli occupation announced the Jordan-Palestinian border area reaching the Jordan valley closed military zones. Many Palestinian communities were displaced like “Um Al Ebar”, “Al-Fariseya” and “As-Sakut” under weapon threatens.
