Israeli occupation authorities served on March 20, 2016 two stop-work orders on houses in the area of Khallet Al-Furn, south Hebron city on the claim of "unlicensed construction".
Citizen Nimer Qreinat asserted that a vehicle relative to Israel Civil Administration arrived at location of targeted houses from the western side of the hamlet, issued the stop-work orders, hung them on the house and took some photos of the targeted structures before they had left.
The orders mentioned that the structures were "unlicensed" and ordered a halt on construction works. April 11, 2016 was assigned as the hearing session of the Inspection Sub-Committee in the Israeli court of Beit El colony to consider the status of the notified structures.
The targeted houses belong to the following citizens:
- Nimer Qreinat : the 180m2 house is of two floors and is still under construction. Works on the house started in 2016 and the residence is supposed to be home for four member family including a child.

- Eid Abu Dhuhr : the 100m2 house is of two floors and is still in the finishing phase . Works on the house started in 2015 and the residence is supposed to be home for eleven member family including five children.

About Khallet Al-Furn:
It is located to the south of Hebron city and to the west of bypass road number 60. The hamlet is founded in front of the intersection leading to Bani Heaver colony that is established on confiscated lands from Bani Na'im village. Khallet Al-Furn populates 150 people, most of whom are Bedouins who fled from Bir Al Sabi' area .Residents of the hamlet depend on agriculture and livestock as a source of income and use solar panels to generate electricity.
