The Israeli occupation authorities on September 07, 2015 served demolition orders owned by two citizens from the area of Al-Mafqara hamlet, east Yatta town.
Hamamdih(40) said that a vehicle relative to Israel Civil Administration and an army patrol raided the area and hanged one order on his tent and another one on the tent of citizen Yasir Al-Adra.
The Israeli occupation authorities ordered the two tents demolished by their owners under the claim of “unlicensed construction”. In case the notified persons failed at carrying out the demolition, the occupation army will implement the demolition where all expenses will be billed to owners.
The Israeli occupation authorities on June 22, 2015 served stop-work and demolition orders on the aforementioned tents. The owners did not object to the orders due to their financial status and believing that the Israel occupation will not implement the order. Noteworthy, Hamadih’s tent is of 50m2 in area and is home for his 10 member family including 4 children.

It should be marked that the tent was partially damaged due to the sand storm that hit the country lately. The owner had to demolish his own tent by himself so that he can use some of its parts again.

Noteworthy, Al-Adra tent is of 50m2 in area and was served a stop-work order on June 22, 2015. The owner did not object to order. Thus he was served the new demolition order. It should be marked that the citizen moved to live in a house in the neighboring village of Al-Tuwani.

About Al-Mafqara hamlet:
It is a primitive community located 17km to the far east of Yatta town. It has a population of 150 people divided on 22 main families that are relative to the clan of Hamamdih Al-Yattawyeih. The hamlet is run by a joint village council.
The hamlet’s boundaries:
- Khafat Ma’on colony to the north
- Afi Gal colony and bypass road no.60 to the west
- Yacoub Dalia colony to the south
- Ma’on colony to the east
