After announcing three colonists from Kfar Etzion kidnapped on June 19th 2014, inspection and search operation were conducted in Hebron governorate where soldiers raided houses, mosques, service and educational organization and even agricultural lands. As a result, the occupation wreaked havoc in the aforementioned under the pretext of looking for the missing colonists.
In the context of raids, most of the branches and the headquarters of Islamic Charitable Society in Hebron governorate were raided. Soldiers smashed the doors' locks and broke into the buildings, vandalized the interior, and confiscated computers and other private files. Break-ins were intense at the administrative buildings of every branch; the troops of the occupation would then seal the doors by welding them andor serving an eviction order on the structure with a deadline until 31/12/2014.
This will affect a huge number of beneficiaries who are in thousands and who depend on the aid and services of the society be them cash, educational, etc. The report herein will tackle the issue of what Dura village's branch of the society has been going through and the damage inflicted upon beneficiaries in different cities and governorates after this aggression.
The occupation carries out raids, closures, and demolitions on Islamic Charitable Society in Hebron and Dura village got its share from the aggression :
Around 3:00 am of Friday, June 20th 2014, a force of the Israeli occupation(10 military vehicles) raided the society headquarter in the area of Singir, east of Dura and around 200 soldiers surrounded the building and the nearby area. Soldiers forced the guard to open the doors where they wreaked havoc to the interior and confiscated 4 computers and files and projects relative to orphans. Other files from the accounting department as well as to a safe were destroyed as a result. The following departments of the society were sealed and a military closure order was hanged on them with a deadline until: 31/12/2014:
- The chairman office
- Public affairs
- Orphans department
- Accounting office

Damage inflicted upon closing the society:
- The time schedule of the society work and its related schools will be disoriented. For example, al-Sidiq school that has more than 300 students from the first to the tenth grade in addition to Dura charitable House for orphans, which is the " sheltering center" for students of al-Sidiq school in which best care and social and health services are provided to them.
- The closure will affect around 350 orphan family in addition to tens of needy families who in this regard benefit from programs, projects and charitable activities offered by the society throughout the year. The families and the orphans allocations have stopped as a result.
- 350 needy family in addition to tens of families benefit from the society various programs in coordination with governmental organizations such like Ministry of Social Affairs. A total of 43 sustaining 400 members lost their jobs due to the closures.
The occupation carried out this brutal campaign on the West Bank, especially Hebron under the pretext of searching for the abducted colonists. Palestinian structures, societies, charitable, and educational facilities were targeted where more than 1104 residences were raided and 27 others were closed andor demolished.
