Victims: Wisam and Sayil Islimiya
Details:
On March 05, 2014, the Israeli occupation authorities handed two citizens from Idhna, west of Hebron, stop-work orders for their residences under the pretext of unlicensed construction.
Wisam Islimiya (28) told an LRC observer that : "A patrol of the Israeli army accompanying officers of the Civil Administration passed by my house and my cousin's where they served us stop-work orders."
Islimiya pointed out that his house is already inhabited. In fact, the order was sent to him on the first day he and his family moved in to the house while his cousin's is still under construction.
The orders asked for immediate halt of any construction work and set the date of 24/04/2014 for the meeting of the central inspection subcommittee in Beit El court to consider whether to demolish the residence or keep it at its status quo with removing all additions.
It should be marked that these two houses are located in Khallet Ibrahim, west of Idhna. Wisam and Sayil are preparing all the required documents to object the Israeli orders.
