Serving families stop-work orders in Nablus

Details:

On March 02, the so-called Planning Committee of the Israeli Civil Administration served six families from al-Lubban ash Sharqiya village orders to stop work (construction) on their residential and commercial buildings under the pretext of unlicensed construction in an area classified "C" according to Oslo Accords.

According to the military orders, the notified people were given a respite that ends on March 23, 2014. The date is final for finishing the procedures of obtaining permits. The same date was set for a session to be held in Beit El court for the Planning Committee to consider the legal status of the structures. The following table gives information about the structures threatened of being demolished in al- Lubban as Sharqiya village, south of Nablus:

The threatened houses and structures shelter nine families and were built a year ago in the eastern part of the village and they are adjacent to bypass road no. 60. According to the available data al Lubban village council , 20 stop-work orders were issued and served by the Israeli occupation to the people of the village since the beginning of 2014.
