Violation: cutting off 600 olive saplings
Location: al-Rafid area
Date: 30/01/2014
Perpetrators: Shilo colonists
Victims: farmers of Sinjel town
Details:
After colonists had cut off 750 olive seedlings within the natural block named al-Rafid a week ago, they on30/01/2014, cut off 600 olive saplings that were planted in 01/2013. Now the total of the damaged olives and almonds saplings is 1350.
It should be mentioned that the uprooted and stolen trees were funded by the Red Crescent for the sake of protecting the Palestinian lands from colonial interests.
It should also be marked that the location was targeted twice during the past month. The land is 1.5km away from Shilo, which is targeting the land for the favor of its colonial expansion. Therefore, al-Rafid ( Singel property) has been witnessing frequent violations and assaults during the past couple of years by colonists and soldiers of the occupation
