Jet in lines:
Jet lies to the east of Qalqiliya, 18 km away. Its total area is 6560 dunums, 183 of which is master plan. Most farmers harvest olive, figs, and wheat.
It has a population of 2700 people. Jet is like any other Palestinian village; it is under attack. In the beginning of 90s, the Israeli occupation confiscated vast areas of the village lands in favor of "Matsbi Yshai" to the west of the village. From the east, there is "Gilad Zohar" colony which is named after a famous colonist. The colonists of Gilad Zohar are known for their extremism and racism.
Regarding orders, there are 30 structures threatened and their owners are ordered to stop construction and work in the structures for being unlicensed. The problem is that the master plan of the village is not enough for the increase of population. That led many to build in area C according to Oslo and without license.
