Palestinians largely depend on seasonal crops in their living; every year, Palestinians patiently wait for these seasons, especially, the olive picking season which not only serve as an income generation tool but also a heritage and cultural experience which used to be full with joy in the past. It used to deepen the connection between Palestinians and their lands. Nevertheless, over 60 years ago, outlanders broke into the lands and turned this season into a season of fear, terror, anxiety, and edginess by committing systematic crimes against the Palestinians and their properties. At the beginning of each olive picking season, Israeli colonists spreading like cancer all around the West Bank, redeploy themselves and carry out more attacks on Palestinians, attacks which in past years resulted in tens of deaths and the loss of tens of thousands of trees.Click here for more information.
